Hopper Christmas Crackers are eco-friendly, ethical, and hand-crafted festive crackers, made on Hopper St in Wellington. Inside these wonderful crackers are innovative and useful gifts (one per cracker) which are made from upcycled and natural materials; or samples from collaborating sustainable businesses. There are special gifts made for children too!
The cracker itself can be turned into an adjustable crown to wear at your festive meal or celebration. This is a unique world-first design - to think more sustainably about the end product - which by the way, is from sustainable forest sources and can be compostable too.
Sales in 2023 support The Capital Kiwi Project. The Capital Kiwi Project’s mission is to restore a large-scale wild kiwi population to Wellington’s backyard. Since 2022, many kiwi have been released into Wellington South Coast hills with volunteer teams working to make sure they thrive.
